Last Saturday, my church hosted its annual backpack giveaway, ensuring families in need received essential school supplies and backpacks. My pastor generously allowed a few of us to set up tables to sell our crafts. I'm thrilled to report I made the most amount of sales! My wooden bookmarks and phone charms were my most popular items! The whole event was a success! It was wonderful to contribute to such a meaningful event while also sharing my creations. Thank you, to my supporters and Reddick Church of God!

Hello everyone! I finished my project, which I shared with you last week. I'm thrilled to share my new Summer beach-themed shadowbox! It features a serene blue ocean backdrop with a playful wooden dolphin, a colorful clay seahorse, real seashells, and a clay starfish. This week, I'm diving into a fun new project: creating a beach-themed shadowbox! I'm really excited about it. My plan is to start by giving the shadowbox a fresh coat of paint, in a calming ocean blue and a sandy beige, to set the perfect backdrop. Once that's dry, the real fun begins: decorating it with all sorts of authentic beach treasures. I'm picturing delicate seashells, a wooden dolphin, and some clay and resin beach-themed findings I made. I want it to feel like a miniature slice of the shore.

This week, my creative energy is flowing! First, I've been working with resin. Projects include light switch covers, buttons, pendants, and miniature jars made with chameleon mica powder. I've also embarked on the creation of a wooden bracelet. I am going to be wrapping the wooden base with fabric, adding a layer of texture to the piece. Also, I am working on a painting project of two wooden gnomes with a watermelon theme. One of these cheerful gnomes is destined to be posted online to find a new home, while the other will proudly hang on my front door.

Here are some of the crafts I worked on this week! I created a shadowbox necklace that reads "Dreaming of Sunshine". I designed some dog t-shirts and dog bandanas. Making a great gift for a Christian, I made a pair of earrings with druzy gemstone beads and silver cross charms. Also, I strung together a rosary with gemstone beads... Finally, I crafted a hair clip using feathers and a quartz point. It was a productive week filled with a variety of projects!
